Current COVID Advisory RED

Our goal is to ensure that our visitors can attend events at the Expo in a safe and comfortable environment. Accordingly, we have established the following masking policy that is based on the current Porter County Color Advisory Level as determined by the Indiana State Department of Health

You can check back regularly to this website to find the most current Color Advisory Level which will be posted at the top of this page.

BLUE Or YELLOW Advisory Level

When Porter County is at a BLUE or YELLOW Advisory Level, masks will be optional for visitors and employees who are fully vaccinated. For visitors who are not fully vaccinated, wearing of masks is highly recommended.

ORANGE Or RED* Advisory Level

  • At all public events, visitors, vendors, and employees of vendors are required to wear masks at all times during their visit. This includes any set-up time in advance of the event.
  • When a member of the public visits the Expo business office, masks are required during their visit.
  • During set up of events, and at the events, Expo employees are required to wear masks.
  • Any employee who has interactions with the public and cannot distance at least three feet away form the visitor must wear a mask UNLESS there is a protective barrier between them.

*Please note that further restrictions may be implemented if Porter County reaches a RED Advisory Level.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Per ISDH Guidelines, to go to a lower Advisory Level, a county must remain at a lower Weekly Two-Metric Score for two consecutive weeks.
